It has been seven years since the series had seen a new episode. The fighting game bandai namco has long been one of the iconic titles in the versus fighting world. The expectation was therefore there around the announcement of the eighth opus. Especially since the title was part of a series of potential leaks previously discovered by the community. Finally, during theEVO 2022major tournament of the fighting game scene, the game had been officially announced, without showing more.
This trailer therefore brings images from the game engine for the first time.. We see Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima, the two protagonists, confronting each other in a field of ruins, swept by rain and violent winds. In addition to cinematic shots, some shots refer more clearly to the gameplay of the game.
The side camera allows us to observe several combos in action, which gives us a slight overview of the game in real life. However, this is a story-driven trailer. No information on the interface to come is therefore known to date. If it was only announced on PlayStation 5 during the State of Play, the trailer on the official account confirms its arrival on PC and Xbox Series. However, we have no release date for TEKKEN 8. We will have to wait some more time.
