(CercleFinance.com) – Tele2 soars 9% on the OMX, surrounded after the announcement of the acquisition by Freya, iliad’s investment vehicle and NJJ Holding, of around 19.8% of its capital with Kinnevik for approximately 13 billion Swedish crowns (approximately 1.16 billion euros).
The transaction was divided into three tranches, the last of which should take place no later than the third quarter of 2024. After approval from the authorities, Freya will become the reference shareholder of this operator present in Sweden and the Baltic countries.
This investment offers iliad an ‘opportunity to support Tele2 in its growth and to work closely together on innovation, convergence and investments in new generation networks’.
