The transformation of Telegram continues! In the year 2022, the instant messenger received many updates. It is used to hide specific areas of a clip or snapshot to hide information or just a face in the background. This blur is placed manually by pressing a dedicated button. For the rest, we find the fact of being able to quickly add shapes (circles, rectangles, squares, etc.) to a creation or even to apply a “spoilers” filter, as on Twitter, in order to hide the content of an image. The recipient will have to touch the item sent to reveal its nature (a good way to avoid unpleasant surprises).
Finally, the update adds new storage options, including the automatic deletion of cached data. Profile pictures are also impacted by this patch. We can now choose an avatar for each recipient (which they will not necessarily see) and limit the visibility of our own profile picture. For example, it is possible to make it invisible to all of your contacts. New emojis and progression animations complete the list of new features.
