Telekom and MagentaTV down: Users report internet problems – provider provides statement

At the moment, Telekom’s internet doesn’t seem to be working quite as it should. Many customers are reporting to our fault reporter that they are having problems with their internet connection, logins and MagentaTV. In some cases, the telephone connection also seems to be affected. Most of the reports reach us from large cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main and Stuttgart.

Netzwelt now has a statement from a Telekom spokesperson about the reason for the disruption: “There may currently be problems with the Telekom login, for example when logging into the MeinMagenta app, in our customer center, at T-Online.de and also partly at MagentaTV. Telephony and internet via landline and mobile networks are not affected. We are already working on resolving the disruption.”

There was a problem with Telekom at the beginning of the week. However, this was resolved very quickly. This may also be the case today and everything will soon be working again. Also check whether your DSL router is running smoothly.
