Telekom.de prepaid activation: This is how it works

If you have purchased a Telekom prepaid card from a retailer, you can activate it in just a few steps and use it immediately. GIGA shows you how it’s done.

A prepaid card from Telekom can have many advantages. However, you can no longer avoid authentication. But you can easily activate your SIM card via online identification and top up your prepaid afterwards. We will show you how this works in this article.

Activate Telekom prepaid card: Online Ident

You can now find many prepaid cards retail stores. Retail, lottery shops and gas stations sell you the SIM cards. Before you can use the card, however, you must first activate. If you ordered the card from the online shop, you must follow the instructions in the email you received. This is done in a few steps. We will now show you step by step what you have to do if you bought your card from Telekom in a shop:

1. Go to the activation page of Telekom and click on “Activate prepaid card“.
2. Type in the following card and telephone number and click on “Continue“.
   You can find the numbers in the envelope of the purchased card.
3. Then give yours personal data and yours identification data a.
