Telekom: Disruptions and problems with the internet provider

You currently have to expect complications if you are a Telekom customer. Numerous reports have been received via our fault reporter indicating problems with the provider’s services.

The Internet connection is apparently primarily affected, but problems can also arise when using the telephone connection and the mobile network. There is still no information on Telekom’s official Twitter channel as to what caused the disruption. Temporary outages would be possible due to severe storms that are currently hitting Germany.

However, the reason for your problems could also be two known Telekom faults. Customers who want to use the “Magenta Moments” advantage program are currently experiencing difficulties. Telekom itself does not go into more detail about the disruption. Presumably, numerous pre-orderers who want to get their hands on the new iPhone 15 are bringing the platform to its knees.

Another known disturbance can currently be found in Hamburg. There are currently problems with the mobile network in the Hamburg-Mitte/Hamburg-Altona area. According to Telekom, work is already underway on this.

With a bit of luck, however, you can solve your internet problem yourself by using some of the solutions to internet problems we have shown. However, if in doubt, you have to wait until the problem has calmed down.
