Telekom: Promotion with free data volume is extended

Keep in touch with people who are important to you: this is important in times of corona and social distance. To make this possible, even if the data volume is exhausted, the mobile operator Telekom is once again giving its customers an extra ten gigabytes of data volume for April. And other providers also have special offers. So you can use it.

To activate the additional data volume, users have to install the "MeinMagenta" app on their smartphone. The app is available for both Android and Apple devices. The offer can then be activated on the start page. It applies to contract and prepaid customers for the time being without an end date.

Disney + free for six months

In order to pass the time with exciting films, series and documentaries, the recently launched streaming service Disney + has been available for free for six months since March 24. Telekom customers of MagentaZuhause-, Magenta-Mobil or the MagentaTV App and the MagentaTV Stick can easily book the offer in addition to the existing contract.

The Telekom subsidiary Congstar helps its customers once with five gigabytes of additional data volume. It doesn't matter whether you have booked a pre- or postpaid tariff. The extra data can be booked in the Congstar app, in the online customer center and at datapass.de. They are then valid for 31 days.

Vodafone supports home office

Vodafone customers no longer consume any data when using social networks. This applies to almost all popular networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, Snapchat or Pinterest. For the so-called "Social Pass", whether private or business customer, you can register free of charge in the "Mein-Vodafone" app since March 24th.

O2 does not reduce speed

So far, O2 has not provided any additional data volume. However, the surf speed is no longer throttled, the booked data volume is used up. Specifically, this means that instead of the regular 32 kilobits per second, customers can continue surfing at full speed of 384 kilobits per second until the end of April without extra costs. This also applies to O2 business customers, Blue and Aldi Talk users who also use the O2 network.
