Telekom: Users report problems with the Internet connection and other services

Since around Thursday noon, Telekom customers have had to show strong nerves. A large number of Telekom users tell us that they are currently having problems with the Internet connection, their telephone connection or the mobile network. Western regions of Germany are particularly affected.

At around 1:00 p.m., Telekom had already announced the problems reported via Twitter. According to this, there were “impairments to the mobile phone services GSM, LTE and 5G in the greater Dortmund area” at that time. However, these problems were already fixed around 2:00 p.m., according to Telekom in a later post.

Telekom has not yet commented on whether the current disruptions are still the after-effects of these impairments or whether it is another disruption. The situation may calm down again in a few minutes. You can see whether the servers are running again via our Telekom fault indicator.
