Telenet Shooting Collection announced on Switch with 4 games from the early 90s

Announced on Switch, Telenet Shooting Collection does not yet have a release date and will also go through the crowdfunding box on the Japanese platform Makuake, the objective being to collect at least 3 million yen (20,572 euros). The compilation will include four games released between 1990 and 1992 on Mega Drive and PC Engine: Granada, Avenger, Gaiares and Psychic Storm.

A few months ago, we also had the opportunity to talk about the star of this small collection, namely Gaiares, thanks to its surprise return in collector’s version at Retro-bit, but this limited edition only concerned purists still in possession of a Mega Drive. Besides this reputable side-scrolling space shooter, we can mention Granada, a title developed by the famous Wolf Team in which we freely control a futuristic tank and whose soundtrack was composed by Masaaki Uno and a certain Motoi Sakuraba. As for Avenger and Psychic Storm, they will proudly represent the vertical scrolling shoot’em up, the latter setting the tone with its introduction anime so typical of early CD-ROM games and its successful realization.

In the absence of a trailer, Edia is probably counting on your imagination or your ability to find long play on Youtube.
