(AOF) – After two last sessions in negative territory, Teleperformance (+5.16% to 134.60 euros) is at the top of the CAC 40 index. The specialist in customer relationship management benefits from the initiated interest by Exane Bnp Paribas which resumes monitoring of the value at Outperformance, with a price target set at 205 euros. “With the market now placing a negative value on its core client relations activity, we believe there is excess pessimism,” considers the broker.
Teleperformance, which in 2023 had the second worst performance of the flagship index of the Parisian market (-46.45%) after that of Alstom, recently announced the departure of the group in May 2024 of Thomas Mackenbrock, former director General of Majorel, within the framework of a mutual agreement.
Until his departure, he will continue to participate in the Majorel process within Teleperformance.
“His key participation in the integration process to date strengthens our future growth potential and our synergy plan, which we confirm at the high end of the initial objective,” underlined CEO Daniel Julien.
“The group confirms that it is targeting the high end of the initial synergy plan (100 million euros to 150 million euros,” Invest Securities indicated.
Teleperformance announced at the end of last April a proposed takeover bid for Majorel for an amount of 3 billion euros. The stock then lost 14% in one session.
At the end of 2023, the company announced a further reduction in its growth target, now expecting growth of “around 6%” in its turnover on a like-for-like basis compared to a previous forecast of between 6 and 8%.
