Téléverbier: Activity for the second half of 2022/2023 amounts to 9.7 MCHF

(Boursier.com) — As a reminder, the TELEVERBIER group, taking into account its activity, achieves approximately 90% of its turnover in the first half. The second half of the year is essentially devoted to maintenance work, investments and summer tourist operations.
Activity for the second half of 2022/2023 amounts to 9.7 MCHF (10.1 ME), or 14.2% of cumulative annual turnover, compared to 8.7 MCHF (8.8 ME) for the same period of 2021/2022.

The 13.8% increase in turnover for the period comes both from the increase in transport and catering activities during the summer season, but also from an increase in the contribution of technical services.

The contribution to turnover and the evolution compared to the previous financial year of each of the group’s activities are as follows:
– The ski lift activity at 45.5 MCHF (46.6 ME) recorded a slight decrease of 0.1 MCHF (-0.3%) compared to an exceptional previous year which was marked by the return of customers international after two years strongly impacted by the Covid-19 global health crisis.
– The catering activity at 7.4 MCHF (7.6 ME) shows an increase of 1.8 MCHF (+32.1%) benefiting from the operation of 3 new high-altitude restaurants.
– The contribution of technical services stands at 7.7 MCHF (7.9 ME), an increase of 15.4%;
– Other operating income amounted to 7.6 MCHF (7.8 ME), down 10.2%.
