Televerbier: Net income group share stands at 12.2 MCHF


(Boursier.com) — The 2021/2022 turnover of Televerbier amounted to 66.4 MCHF (66.9 ME), an increase of 39.9% compared to the previous financial year. The 2021/2022 winter season was marked by favorable weather conditions and the return of foreign customers, compared to the previous winter which had been strongly impacted by the global crisis linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The evolution of turnover compared to the previous winter season is as follows:
– Ski lift activity at 45.1 MCHF recorded an increase of 12.4 MCHF (+38.0%);
– The catering activity at 5.6 MCHF shows an increase of 2.2 MCHF (+66.4%);
– The contribution of technical services amounted to 7.2 MCHF, up 58.4%;
– Other operating income amounted to 8.4 MCHF, up 23.4%.

In this context, EBITDA reached 30 MCHF (30.2 ME), i.e. 45.1% of turnover compared to 25.2% in 2020/2021. EBIT stands at 16.7 MCHF (16.8 ME). The net result group share amounts to 12.2 MCHF (12.3 ME).
During the financial year, Téléverbier continued to invest 18.5 MCHF (18.6 ME) against 14.8 MCHF (13.6 ME) during the previous financial year. The main investments made concern the construction of the new chairlift (6.2 MCHF) and the new La Pasay restaurant (2.1 MCHF), the repair of the Lacs-Attelas-Ruinettes mechanical snowmaking network (2.9 MCHF) and the construction of the new Médran-Ruinettes gondola (3.5 MCHF).

As of October 31, 2022, Téléverbier’s financial structure remains very solid with shareholders’ equity of 143.3 MCHF (144.4 ME) and gross financial debt of 27.7 MCHF (27.9 ME) compared to 28.3 MCHF ( 26 ME) as of October 31, 2021. Available cash as of October 31, 2022 stands at 11.8 MCHF (11.9 ME) compared to 10.9 MCHF (10 ME) as of October 31, 2021. To date, the he Group’s net debt amounts to 16.0 MCHF (16.1 ME).

Points on the start of the 2022/2023 financial year

The start of the winter season is going very well. Attendance is very good despite a slightly more pronounced dip in January compared to last year, which, let’s remember, was almost non-existent…
The group intends to confirm this trend in the second part of the winter season, which will end on April 23, when the slopes close.
