The legendary burlesque and strip star Tempest Storm died at the age of 93. The American is said to have dated Elvis.

Burlesque legend Tempest Storm (1928-2021) died Tuesday in her apartment in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the presence of her colleagues Kalani Kokonuts, Miss Redd and her longtime friend and business partner Harvey Robbins. The latter confirmed the news of her death the Las Vegas “Review Journal”. Annie Blanche Banks, as her native was called, was 93 years old.

Tempest Storm with the distinctive red hair became the highest paid burlesque dancer in the 1950s and performed until 2010. Actress Marilyn Monroe (1926-1962) is said to have been her neighbor and friend. Among other things, she is said to have been in a relationship with the superstars Elvis Presley (1935-1977) and Sammy Davis Jr. (1925-1990).

With her fourth husband (1959-1967), actor and jazz musician Herb Jeffries (1913-2014), she had their daughter Patricia.
