Temtem is a MMORPGs of collecting monsters which looks like Pokemon. Your goal will be to capture various Temtem in the Archipelago which includes six islands. Once the tutorial phase is complete, you will be free to roam the world to challenge various Temtem Tamers, go on expeditions to find Lumas (shiny) and many other quests that will make you evolve in the game. For context, Temtem was partially funded through a Kickstarter that raised over $250,000. It was released in its Early Access version in 2020 and is now on its way to rolling out to more platforms in its final version.
Temtem: What is its release date and on which platforms?
- Temtem will be available on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in full version (1.0)
- You can buy / download it on the following platforms: PC (Steam, Windows), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S
- As a reminder, Temtem has already been available in its Early Access version since 2020.
Important : note that an Online subscription on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch will be necessary to be able to launch the game. This is an mmo which therefore has multiplayer functions.
Temtem: weight, price of the different Standard, Deluxe and Collector editions
If you don’t yet have the game in Early Access, you can of course choose to buy it in the standard edition (game only), or in the Deluxe edition with some cosmetics. But, to mark the occasion, Crema Games has also revealed a collector’s edition of Temtem that will delight fans.

The PS5 version is at €39.99 and the Steam version at €36.99 currently because it is early access. For the Xbox and Nintendo Switch, which will be released on September 6, it will cost €44.99. As the name suggests, regardless of the platform, it is the game alone (digital or physical).

Temtem: Basic Gameplay and New Features Coming Soon
Temtem is a Pokémon-style MMORPG which therefore offers creature capture as well as multiplayer aspects. Players can travel through the charming archipelago of Airborne with their team of Temtem, catch new monsters, battle other tamers, customize their home, join a friend’s adventure, or explore the dynamic world online.
Basic Main Features
- Story Campaign : Travel across six living islands and embark on an adventure to become a tamer of Temtem while battling the evil Clan Belsoto.
- online world : The days of solo travel are over; in Temtem, the world is massively multiplayer. Tamers from all over the world can join you and you will be able to see them around you, living the adventure with you and fighting to become the best tamer in Temtem.
- Co-op adventure : At any time, you can join forces with a friend and work together to achieve your next goal. Catch new Temtem, complete a route, or face off against a Temtem boss, all while fighting alongside your friend in Dual Battles!
- Lodging : Buy your own house in Atoll Row and decorate it your way. Buy new furniture, color your walls and you’ll be ready to invite your friends!
- Customize : Customize your character to stand out and get new cosmetics while you battle other tamers. Choose a silly hat, a comfy sweatshirt, pants and you’re good to go! Or maybe you prefer to wear a full cosplay of your favorite Temtem?
- Competition : Start by choosing 8 Temtem and the pick and ban phase will begin. In turn, your rival will choose your Temtem and banish theirs. When all the decisions are made and the rounds are over, you are left with a team of 5 Temtem and the battle begins.
New Features Coming to Temtem at Launch
- Seasons : After the launch of version 1.0, we will release seasonal updates and a Battle Pass with free and premium reward tracks.
- Endgame Island : The last island will be added, thus completing the Airborne Archipelago. This island will feature new activities through which you can test yourself as a Temtem tamer, new places to shop, and new areas to explore with your friends.

With its very colorful universe, its complex story and only 50% of the features available in Early Access, Crema’s game promises to be a huge success in the long term. Early access alone already offers a good thirty hours of play, more than 80 creatures to capture, three islands to explore and side quests. Some important features like Breeding and Luma Hunting allow you to play for hours after completing the main story. And if you don’t want to go alone in the world of Temtem, don’t panic: you can either let yourself be guided by the hundreds of other players present on the map, or simply explore the islands in coop with one of them. ) of your friends.
