Stars like Zendaya are currently showing the way. The tenniscore trend is the Look for spring. It combines sporty styles with a feeling of elegance and luxury, as it is inspired by the so-called “old money aesthetic”. Tennis is considered a sport of the “old money”, which is why the tennis core style is intended to evoke the lifestyle of the upper class. The good thing about it: You probably already have many of the key pieces in your wardrobe.

Tenniscore and the classics: tennis skirts and dresses

The easiest way to style the tennis core trend is to use the fashionable flagship of tennis: the tennis skirt. The short skirts or dresses are characterized by their characteristic folds and therefore feel airy to wear. The foundation of your tennis core outfit has been laid.

Knitted sweater to keep you warm

What do you wear on top to achieve the sporty, elegant style? Definitely a knitted sweater on colder days. It’s best to choose models with a cable pattern. Sweater vests are also an alternative. Pulled over a loose shirt, it’s totally in keeping with the tennis core trend. If the sun is still out, the sweater can be draped over your shoulders and the sleeves loosely knotted in front of your chest. The ultimate old money look.

Collar and buttons

When it’s not sweater weather, in Tenniscore you wear polo shirts or T-shirts with a collar or button placket. By the way, the typical color in tennis is white, which is why the tennis core trend also relies on more muted colors or a combination of white and a basic color. You often see colored stripes or buttons as an accent.

The accessories from the square

As with any outfit, you need the right accessories to complete a look. In the tennis core trend, like the other key pieces, they are copied directly from the court. Caps and hairbands complete the perfect tenniscore outfit. Here too, white hairbands are particularly stereotypical. One accessory even got its current name from tennis: the tennis bracelet. Thin, tight-fitting bracelets with sparkling diamonds (or other stones, of course) provide that extra bit of luxury feeling.

In every closet: tennis socks

Another item that already has the trend in its name are the good old tennis socks. Anyone who thinks: “Tennis socks? I only wear them with sweatpants on the sofa!” is wrong. Tennis socks have been back in trend for a while now and can even be found with all sorts of embroidery and motifs on the waistband. The only important thing when wearing them is: they have to be classic in white and pulled up! They can even be combined with ballet flats or pumps if you choose the elegant version of the trend. But tennis socks are also an absolute must for tennis core with sneakers.

We think: The new spring trend is not that difficult to recreate. Especially when temperatures change, you can’t go wrong with polo shirts, shirts or sweaters in a layered look. In sneakers and a tennis skirt you can be comfortable and sporty in everyday life. And if you want the look to be more luxurious, you can refine any outfit with other shoes and a sparkling tennis bracelet.
