Tenth week of net outflows for European equity funds (BofA)

LONDON, April 22 (Reuters) – Funds specializing in European equities have just suffered a tenth consecutive week of net outflows, to the tune of 2.9 billion dollars (2.7 billion euros), a movement which affected in the first place the financial values, show the data published Friday by BofA on the basis of EPFR data.

US large-cap funds, meanwhile, recorded their largest outflows since February 2018, at nearly $20 billion, the study said.

In total, equity funds suffered net outflows of $17.5 billion, the highest amount for this category since the start of the year, BofA adds. (Report Sujata Rao, French version Marc Angrand)
