(Boursier.com) — In addition to the joint press release issued this morning by the Groupement Les Mousquetaires and the group Casino, TERACTof which InVivo is the majority shareholder, confirms that the exclusive discussions initiated on March 9 with the Casino group are continuing.
TERACT and the Casino group have until the end of the current exclusivity period to conclude an agreement, on the basis of an industrial project proposed jointly by TERACT, Le Groupement Les Mousquetaires and the Casino group on April 24th.
The press release issued this morning reports the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Groupement Les Mousquetaires and the Casino group, compatible with the discussions currently underway with TERACT, and demonstrates that the industrial project is still at the center of the talks. These aim to strengthen collaboration between the three actors.
“This project aims to reinvent the world of distribution and bring about a new integrated agri-food model, focused on quality, responsible production and the customer. It also aims to better value farmers’ incomes by reconnecting them with the consumer” concludes the group.
