Teri Hatcher victim of a miscarriage: the touching confidences of the star of Desperate Housewives

Teri Hatcher spoke on a delicate subject, Thursday, January 20, on an American television set. The 57-year-old actress said she miscarried when she was in her 40s after going through a sperm bank.

She’s come a long way. Teri Hatcher shared a painful episode from her past on the set of E! News’ Daily Pop, an American broadcast. When she was in her forties, the actress suffered a miscarriage, after using a sperm donor. Thursday, January 20, the hosts of the show were discussing the method of sperm donation, when Teri Hatcher unexpectedly intervened on the subject. “I used it. It didn’t work for me”, said the 57-year-old actress. She then explained: “I tried to have a second child on my own. So I used a sperm donor. Unfortunately, I miscarried afterwards.”

Teri Hatcher was then in her forties. “I didn’t think I’d talk about this today, but here it is, I just did”, was surprised the actress of Desperate Housewives, before concluding: “In any case, it is a method”.

Teri Hatcher’s Experience at a Sperm Bank

Emmerson’s mother, 24, then wanted to lighten the mood on set and assured that it was “pretty funny” choose their own sperm donor. “It’s quite fun, actually. Because you choose everything, if he wears glasses, if he has acne, the size he measures… It’s interesting seen like that”, laughed Teri Hatcher.

Known for her role as Susan in Desperate Housewives and winner of a Golden Globe for the series, the American actress began her career on the small screen. In the 1990s, she played the role of Lois Lane in the cult series Lois and Clark, the new adventures of superman, with Dean Cain as Superman/Clark Kent. At the time, already, she confided little in her private life. Her interview for E! News’Daily Pop is therefore an exception.
