Sexual harassment, rape – incapacitated and made submissive with knockout drops and racially motivated violence: the allegations are serious when it comes to the security staff at what is probably the most popular graduation party in Croatia. And nobody talks about it. Until now. As reported on Sunday, one opened his mouth and went public. Bastian K. (18) from Enzersdorf (Lower Austria). He now tells the “Krone” what made him do it.
“I heard from friends that they were being harassed. I then realized what it would be like if I had a daughter myself, ”says Bastian K. of the“ Krone ”. Because the reports of experiences of violence by young girls with Croatian security officers on Matura Island left the 18-year-old with no peace of mind. He launched an appeal on social networks to shake people up and get those affected to talk.
The response was enormous: “My appeal made the rounds and I was overwhelmed with messages from various people from all over Austria and Germany. There were reports of unacceptable behavior on the part of the security – and indeed there was talk of rape and drug use. “

The descriptions of women and men leave you speechless: One girl is said to have ended up in the hospital, another one was dragged into the forest and raped there. “For me it is frightening what happened on the graduation trip, and it is even more frightening that nothing is done,” says the 18-year-old. A man who loves partying and parties. His passion is serious music, which he wants to turn into a profession. But because of the Croatia cause, the party mood has passed him for the time being.
Organizer: “From today’s perspective, excluded“
While the organizer, as reported, endeavors to provide “complete clarification”, “from today’s perspective, rape and the administration of knockout drops by security officers”, Bastian K. continues to receive a flood of messages from those affected. Suddenly, boys unpack who are said to have been beaten up by security guards for no reason whatsoever. And two participants who were infected with Covid-19 in the party fever – “X-Jam either does not react to this information or denies it.”
Bastian K. only wants one thing: “I hope that the police will be involved and that the organizer will take the full consequences!”
Incidentally, at the following point there should be an interview with a managing director of the organizer, but so far nobody has wanted to comment personally on the cause. Therefore, the “Krone” publishes the written Statement from the PR agency once again in the wording: “X-Jam is aware of allegations against the employees of the external security companies from Austria and Croatia, which cannot be confirmed at this point in time. X-Jam has already initiated the review and is striving to provide complete clarification, as the well-being and safety of guests are the top priority. Rape and the administration of knockout drops by security officers can be ruled out from today’s perspective. Isolated complaints about incorrect behavior by individual security employees were investigated during the event. The affected employees who were identified were immediately expelled from the area and their employers informed. The externally commissioned security companies have assured their cooperation in clearing up the allegations. The X-Jam team is present on the premises around the clock and also monitors the work of the external security staff. “
