(Boursier.com) — You’re here sold 66,051 electric vehicles made in China in January, an increase of 10.4% compared to last year and a jump of 18% compared to December 2022, according to data – including exports – published today by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). These are the first Chinese monthly delivery figures from the Shanghai site since the brutal price reductions of Elon Musk’s group. Tesla plans to produce an average of nearly 20,000 vehicles per week at its Shanghai factory in February and March, according to Reuters. The company expects monthly production to reach around September levels of 82,000 vehicles.

The group has also reduced the prices of some of its models in South Korea, said a local sales manager for the American manufacturer, quoted by Reuters.
