Tesla: Credit Suisse raises its price target

(CercleFinance.com) – Credit Suisse raised its price target on Tesla on Tuesday, raised from 830 to 1025 dollars in anticipation of an increase in the group’s delivery volumes by 2030 and an improvement in its gross margin.

In a research note, the broker says it has identified four themes that it deems capable of validating the growth potential of the manufacturer of electric vehicles this year.

This is, according to him, (1) an expansion of the group’s production capacities and (2) an increase in margins, an element that he considers fundamental insofar as it is the margins that will ensure ‘after him the future growth of the builder.

In its note, Credit Suisse also mentions (3) the strengthening of the range with the eagerly awaited arrival of a ‘Model 2’ supposed to democratize the brand with an entry price of 25,000 dollars and (4) the need to improve the autonomy of batteries produced in-house.

The broker maintains his ‘neutral’ opinion on the stock.
