Reuters announces that Panasonic aims to increase energy density by 20% by 2030. This means that a battery pack of the same size could provide longer battery life, enough to correct the biggest fault of many electric cars. This is not the first time that Panasonic has made such a promise, since already in 2020 the company had already announced that it wanted to allow Teslas to exceed 700 km of autonomy over the next 5 years.

By increasing the energy density of its batteries, Panasonic will be able to give car manufacturers the opportunity to increase the autonomy of their cars, but not only that.
