More than electric cars
, Teslas are veritable Swiss army knives with a host of leisure activities on board. Video games
, streaming platforms
and even karaoke features, passengers have plenty to enjoy.

And for those who like to push the song, the American manufacturer will market a new accessory.

Karaoke microphones for Teslas

After a clothing line and even a $50 whistle, it’s time for a karaoke microphone. An accessory soberly baptized “TeslaMic”, which accompanies the deployment of a new update for the Chinese New Year and which adds the local karaoke platform Leishi KTV. Enough to provide a larger repertoire of songs for the “Caraoke” feature, available since 2019. This new accessory will pair automatically with vehicles and will offer a small range of sound effects to modify the voice of budding singers . The microphones can nevertheless be used outside of Tesla cars and can be paired with other devices.

The TeslaMic is currently only available in China, where it is sold in packs of two microphones for a whopping 1,199 yuan, or around 169 euros. The product already seems to be a victim of its own success, with the official site no longer able to display the dedicated page. It remains to be seen whether it will be available outside the Middle Kingdom in the future, especially as the manufacturer plans to enter the audio market.
