Thus, at the beginning of January, French consumers were able to benefit from a reduction in prices on Model Y, a way of competing with local competitors Renault and Peugeot. And today, a new price depreciation has been decided, but this time on the Model 3!
The Model 3 costs less
At Tesla, cars never keep a stable price for very long. This is what we can still see with the Model 3, which is becoming more accessible in our territory. The Model 3 Propulsion is thus entitled to a discount of 3,000 euros, to see its price drop to 39,990 euros. For its part, the Model 3 Grande Autonomie sees a discount of 2,000 euros applied, which increases its price to 48,990 euros.
Tesla has lowered prices all over the world, whether in our European neighbors like Germany, or in other regions of the world such as the Middle East or China. But it is the American market which has benefited the most from this decision.
Elon Musk assumes price volatility
Tesla has in fact applied a reduction of 2,000 dollars (approximately 1,876 euros) to its Models X, Model Y and Model S. And the company did not stop there, since the price of its autonomous driving software, the Full Self-Driving driver (FSD), saw its price fall across the Atlantic from 12,000 to 8,000 dollars.
