Tesla opens a gigantic center of 3000 m2 near Paris


Tesla is actively pursuing its expansion into the French market. The manufacturer has just announced the opening of its largest French center near Paris, within the territory of Val d’Europe. This 3000 m² infrastructure will house Tesla’s commercial and after-sales services.

While Tesla recently exceeded the symbolic milestone of 10,000 Supercharger terminals in Europe, the American brand continues to strengthen its presence in the various countries of the Old Continent. And precisely, the announcement of the day directly concerns France.

In an official press release published on November 29, 2022, the manufacturer has just announced the opening of its largest French center, not far from Paris. Located on the territory of Val d’Europe, in the immediate vicinity of the accesses to the A4 motorway, this 3000 m² infrastructure houses Tesla’s commercial and after-sales services.

In total, about thirty employees work on the site. In addition, a new Supercharger station attached to the plant is also opening its doors. She understands 16 ultra-fast charging stations accessible 24 hours a day. A great operation on the part of Tesla, which offers itself an ideal location for this station, located on the edge of the motorway and only 30 minutes from Paris.

Tesla continues to strengthen its presence in France

In addition, the builder points out that the center benefits from proximity to the Val d’Europe RER and Marne-la-Vallée Chessy TGV stations (only 10 minutes). Convenient if you have to go there to pick up your vehicle ordered online, for example. In total, this is the 11th branch opened by Tesla in France since 2020.

At the same time, Tesla specifies that it has also drastically increased the number of Mobile Service teams, with about twenty new units added during his last two years. According to the company, the average waiting time to obtain an appointment has been reduced by 30% in France, despite the explosion of Model 3, Model X, Model Y and Model S in circulation. On average, the intervention time in France is 2 hours, and 88% of cars remain immobilized for less than 24 hours.

Finally, the American firm makes a final focus on the development of the Supercharger network. It announces a 50% increase in the capacity of the French network in just one year. In total, there are now 1,500 Superchargers in more than 125 stations in France.
