The charging stations, meanwhile, will be equivalent to the consumption of a sports stadium. Network managers are already worried about not being able to supply sufficient quantities of electricity.

The National Grid Plc, manager of the British transport network, has calculated the quantities of energy that will be required for the arrival of the Tesla Semi on American roads. The electric truck, announced last year by the firm of Elon Musk, may indeed prove to be very energy-intensive.
According to the manager, a simple charging station for Tesla Semi drivers will consume as much as a small American town by 2035. In the same way, a charging station will consume the equivalent of a sports stadium. ‘by 2030.
