Tesla unveils a preview of the Model 3 Ludicrous with this new… Model S

Tesla has been offering new seats for the Tesla Model S Plaid for several hours, the electric car with three motors developing 1020 hp. This is a small taste of the seats that will be found on the future Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous, which should be revealed in the coming days.

Tesla is constantly improving its electric cars, whether through software updates, but also through new hardware features. The Tesla Model S has just improved on an important point in terms of comfort: the seats. Be careful though, this is only the Plaid version, equipped with three engines and a phenomenal power of 1,020 hp.

Comfortable and sporty

As Tesla teaches us on X (ex-Twitter), the American manufacturer offers new sports seats, allowing, according to Tesla, to offer better lateral support. We can in fact see that the shape is slightly different, with padding that rises higher on the sides and the pelvis. The rest takes on the characteristics of the classic seat, namely electrical adjustment in 12 positions, and the possibility of heating or ventilating the entire surface.

Tesla, however, announces that it has changed the material (a suede, surely vegan like the rest of the range), to increase grip and lighten the seat, without giving further details. We can also see that the Plaid logo is now integrated into the seat, just under the headrest. We also imagine that the speakers are still present, allowing active noise reduction to be activated to reduce rolling noise. According to Electrekthese seats are fitted as standard on all Model S Plaids produced since the beginning of April 2024.

What about the Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous?

The new features of this chair should more or less be found on that of the future Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous. The Performance version of Tesla’s electric sedan should be made official in the coming days. But we already know a lot about it, since numerous leaks have taken place. And we know that the seats will be different from the classic versions of the Model 3. In particular with a sportier look, and the presence of the Ludicrous logo.
