With nearly 2 million pre-orders in September 2023, the Cybertruck is probably the most anticipated electric vehicle in the world. A title that no other car in the world is currently able to challenge. From Tesla’s utility vehicle, we know it will be big, heavy, angular and not as strong as it looks. He will probably probably be in three engines(single motor in propulsion at 120 kWh, and in 4×4 at 160 kWh with two motors/batteries, and 200 kWh for three batteries. A video published by Cybertruck Owners’ Club reveals to us that the pickup could also be, and this despite his XXL measurements, a racing beast.

In the video posted on the site by a member named Stumby, we see Tesla’s Cybertruck stopped at a red light. If aesthetically, we can only discern few details of the vehicle’s bodywork, it is in terms of pure performance the car proves astonishing. The recording is very short, but at the thirtieth second, when the light turns green, we see that the driver of the test car “presses the mushroom” to release all the power of the 4680 batteries, and rewards the spectators present with a breathtaking start. The torque in this car seems monstrous.

The Cybertruck has breathtaking acceleration from a standing start

Tesla is careful not to tout the sporting performance of its future electric car. The Cybertruck theoretically accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds for the base version and 2.9 seconds for the top three-motor version, which makes the acceleration of the American utility vehicle all the more impressive.

Driving enthusiasts and other extreme speed enthusiasts, however, should not view the Cybertruck as a sports car. Rumor indeed announces that the pickup will weigh around 2700 kg. Suffice to say that in terms of handling, it will not be the ideal car. Furthermore, the crash test images of the Cybertruck which leaked onto the networks are really not very reassuring as to the solidity of this one-piece machine.
