“A little voice inside me was telling me not to let anger ruin my life any further”
Not only did her husband cheat on her, but he also did it with her single best friend whom she had taken under her wing. “I was there at every stage of the pregnancy. Even in the hospital, I played the role of the dad. I totally gave the baby the first bath!”, recalls Hailey who had not noticed anything the day of birth. A misfortune never arriving alone, the young woman made other discoveries after being explained with the two lovers.
In the rest of her video, she explains that she learned that her husband had slept with around thirty women since the start of their relationship. “I was very naive. The 28-year-old mom has divorced Travis. For the sake of the children, she maintained a cordial relationship with her now ex-husband. “When I found out about this story, it took me a little while, but I managed to step back, calm down and reflect. I kept hearing a little voice inside me that told me to keep a broad view of things and not let anger ruin my life any further.”
Hailey has also forgiven her friend, and even welcomed her under her roof when she found herself homeless. “I had to find forgiveness for myself and for the children. That’s the main thing. You can go through any hardship in life, but if you can find forgiveness, it heals you from inside,” she concludes. A great lesson in resilience.
