On the side of anti-abortionists, citizens should blacken women who have an abortion. A computer expert sabotaged the whistleblower project.

The strictest abortion law in the United States has been in force in Texas since September 1st. The so-called heartbeat law prohibits abortions once the fetus’s heartbeat has been determined. This can be the case as early as the sixth week of pregnancy. There are exceptions in medical emergencies, but not in the case of rape and incest.

This is to be monitored, among other things, by means of information from the population. Private individuals can take civil action against women who have an abortion and against people who have assisted them. Anyone who successfully sues should even receive a cash bonus. Anti-abortionists have set up a website where citizens can report abortions that violate the new law.

Fake advice for anti-abortion opponents in Texas

However, a computer expert sabotaged this portal. Sean Black explained on his TikTok channel that he had programmed a script that would automatically send 300 false notices. Then the IP is blocked by the server. However, it is different if the data comes from many different devices.

That’s why Black wrote a code that all Apple users can use on their devices. This automatically fills out the form on the page, the anti-abortionists receive so much information that they are overwhelmed both technically and in terms of content. “Because it uses realistic information, the script makes it difficult to analyze the data,” he explained on his TikTok account.

Biden believes the law is unconstitutional

In the USA there is great resistance to the new Texas law. US President Joe Biden reacted indignantly to the new regulation. Like numerous women’s rights organizations, the Democrat argued that the law was unconstitutional. It violates the 1973 Supreme Court ruling known as “Roe v. Wade,” which legalizes abortions nationwide. His government is committed to constitutional law and will “protect and defend” it. However, the US Supreme Court rejected an urgent motion against the law on Thursday.
