TF1: sale of Publishers activities of Unify


(CercleFinance.com) – TF1 announces that it has signed an agreement to sell Unify’s Publisher activities to the Reworld Media group, an operation that would bring Reworld Media’s audience to more than 36 million unique monthly visitors according to Médiamétrie.

The agreement covers twelve digital brands, including aufeminin, Marmiton and Doctissimo, as well as audiovisual, social and influence production activities, the advertising agency Unify Advertising and two digital media operated in the United Kingdom.

In a context where TF1 wanted to focus on its content publishing, multichannel streaming and production activities, it received several expressions of interest and considered Reworld Media’s offer to be the most relevant.

Reworld Media has undertaken to take on all of the division’s employees. The final completion of the transaction remains subject to the usual conditions precedent in this area, in particular the authorization of the Competition Authority.
