(AOF) – TFF Group acquires the company Biossent from Maison Boinaud, a family group producer and trader of Cognac and spirits established in Grande Champagne (Cognac) since the 17th century. Biossent was created in 1989 by Maison Boinaud in order to diversify its activities in the wine and spirits sector, particularly through the marketing of liquid woods intended for the production of spirits (Boié Sélection brand) and tannins intended for wine (Oenotan Sélection brand). .
Biossent’s annual turnover exceeds 4 million euros achieved on five continents, and is associated with high profitability thanks to its mastery of the production process and a strong reputation.
The Managing Director and the 13 employees making up the team will continue to support the company in its development.
With this acquisition, TFF Group strengthens its positioning in the dynamic sector of woodworking products for oenology and expands its offering.
Biossent will be consolidated from September 1, 2023 in the Group’s accounts.
