Like all games from Riot Games, Teamfight Tactics normally receives updates every two weeks. The next should arrive on February 8 and bring some major changes, especially with regard to champion upgrades.
During a game of Teamfight Tactics on set 8, players must all select an upgrade three times which is supposed to bring them an advantage. Among them, you have to choose a champion upgrade. However, this can sometimes be a blessing when it brings the one we have been waiting for several turns, as it can be a real poisoned gift when no character corresponds to what we were looking for.
In case nothing satisfies us, it is always possible to relaunch the selection offered to us, provided you have not already raised before, since it can only be done once. However, if the player has already rerolled a previous improvement, he must choose from the three champions offered, even if none of them fits into his current composition. This can be disabling when the game is already very advanced and it is not possible to change all our champions to adapt to the improvement.
With patch 13.3, the developers of TFT will make it possible to considerably reduce this problem by offering players the possibility of rerolling the champion improvements offered by the game four times, as Stephen “Riot Mortdog” Mortimer posted on his Twitter account.

“The four rerolls are separate from the normal Augment reroll, so you can feel free to use them to see up to fifteen different Hero Augments each time, maximizing your chances of finding something that works for you. » This means that you will still be able to benefit from your reroll for improvements that do not affect champions, but that you will also have the possibility of making four additional rerolls to find the ideal character for your composition. You will therefore no longer need to worry about knowing when is the ideal time to use your raise.
If all goes well, these changes should arrive on February 8 with patch 13.3.
