The passage is obviously from the beginning of the animated feature film, while marioreal-world plumber, discovers the Mushroom Kingdom in which it has just been transported. Toad gives him a tour of the city, allowing him to appreciate the specificities of the region, taking him to the castle of peach to help his brother Luigi in danger.
