TGS 2023: Decapolice, the role-playing and investigation game from Level-5, offers two new enriching videos

Upstream of Tokyo Game Show 2023, Level-5 has published several videos of its games, a good taste before the dedicated presentations which will be carried out on site and broadcast online. Among them we find Decapolicea new license where we will play a detective both in reality and Broadstone and in its virtual equivalent Decapolis in the world of DECASIM to solve crime cases. Two videos were thus revealed, the first mainly serving as a reminderwhile bringing a key plot element to its very end, the fact that the protagonist Harvard Marks searches for his mother’s killer, who would therefore be the serial killer called the Clown.

The second trailer acts as a game guide, since Decapolis can be tried at the show, with once again the highlighting of the jewel theft case which should be one of the first of the adventure. THE DECA-Scanner will be used to search for evidence and it will be possible to question witnesses on site. Harvard Marks will not be the only character that can be played, Carl Oxford here taking over with his higher level, allowing him to obtain the desired information. Once all the clues have been gathered, all you have to do is combine them on a table and link them to the culprit. By calling on Manimani Manoaits knowledge of profiling will help detect the real from the fake.

The second half of the video shows the progress of the fightssince the criminals will not surrender easily, with a whole dimension of RPG and even hostage taking. And such a Personathey will even be able to transform into Crime Beastsincarnation of their malevolence, the boss in question here logically calling himself Jewel Eater.

If you prefer to watch these trailers without subtitles and in full screen, here are the versions all in Japanese:

Here again, Decapolice is still presented as due to appear in 2023 on PS5, PS4 and Switch, which has been in development for three years. So it would be time to give us the release date. If you like this style of game mixing police investigation and action, we can only recommend it to you Astral Chainsold €57.00 on Amazon.
