(CercleFinance.com) – Thales has won a new contract to deploy a CA/PKI (Certificate Authority/Public Key Infrastructure) solution on all Network Rail Telecom (NRT) infrastructures.
The contract is for the design, build, test and delivery of the Enterprise CA/PKI solution.
The Enterprise CA/PKI solution is a powerful cybersecurity system based on authentication, encryption and certification. It will help protect all of Network Rail’s infrastructure, including its IT systems, software, Internet of Things (IOT), surveillance cameras and station information panels, and by securing operational technologies .
Delivery of Enterprise CA/PKI is expected in early 2023, before rollout of the OKMS system later in the year.
