(CercleFinance.com) – Thales announces the completion of the acquisition of Cobham Aerospace Communications (AeroComms), a ‘leading provider of advanced, ultra-reliable and innovative connectivity and secure communications systems for the cockpit’.
With approximately 734 employees, including approximately 190 engineers, AeroComms operates through well-established sites in France, South Africa, the United States, and Canada, as well as Denmark. As a reminder, this transaction was announced in July 2023.
Thanks to this acquisition, which it believes should create significant value for its shareholders, Thales claims to further strengthen its offering and its positioning in the field of connected avionics systems.
