(Reuters) – Data relating to Thales has been published on the “dark web” by the Russian-speaking hacker group LockBit 3.0, the franceinfo site reported on Friday, quoting the French group.

“No genuine ransom demand” has been made, Thales told franceinfo, adding that this data leak had no impact on its activities for the moment.

The group did not immediately respond to requests from Reuters.

Thales had announced on November 1 the opening of an internal investigation into an allegation of data theft by the LockBit 3.0 group, which planned to publish them on November 7.

On the stock market, Thales shares fell 5.49% to 116.1 euros around 10:00 GMT, the largest drop in the CAC 40 index.
