(CercleFinance.com) – Oddo BHF downgrades its opinion of Thales from ‘outperformance’ to ‘neutral’ despite a price target raised from 102 to 129 euros, in a note on European aerospace and defense stocks.
‘The war in Ukraine has created a consensus, still unthinkable a few weeks ago, among all the candidates in the French presidential election for a continuation of the increase in the defense budget in France, or even an acceleration’, underlines the analyst.
According to Oddo, all the players will benefit from it and in particular Thales and Dassault Aviation, but the good course of Thales seems, according to him, to integrate some of this good news while it continues to favor Airbus and Dassault Aviation.
