Thales: partnership with Moro Hub in security and cybersecurity

(Boursier.com) — Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, ​​the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), has signed an agreement with Thaleson November 13, during the Dubai Air Show 2023. This agreement aims to redefine the landscape of security and cybersecurity services in the United Arab Emirates.

This partnership will lead to the development of a wide range of innovative solutions designed to strengthen digital infrastructure in the region and ensure seamless data protection and security.

Under the agreement, Moro Hub will provide public and private companies with a series of cybersecurity services, including a physical security platform. This aims to strengthen security by integrating cutting-edge technological solutions and very sophisticated surveillance mechanisms. This partnership also includes the provision of specialized IT/OT cyber consulting services to bridge the gap between information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). These services will ensure the implementation of robust security solutions to protect critical data against malicious intrusions (breaches or unauthorized access). This partnership will finally offer detection and response services, equipped with advanced threat monitoring systems, to proactively identify and quickly neutralize potential security vulnerabilities.

Recall that this partnership agreement was signed by Marwan Bin Haidar (Vice President & Group CEO of Digital DEWA) and Elias Merrawe (Vice President of Thales’ civil activities in the Middle East), in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer ( Chairman and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority – DEWA), and Patrice Caine (Chairman and CEO of Thales).
