(AOF) – Following rumors of a possible interest in the takeover of Atos’ cybersecurity activities, Thales reacted. The group indicates that it is “potentially interested in any cybersecurity asset that may be available for sale”. However, he adds that “no discussion is underway with Atos in this regard”.
Thales recalls that it has a clear acquisition strategy, focused on strengthening its 3 main sectors of activity: aerospace, defence, and security and digital identity.
Thales adds that it has no intention of diversifying into markets other than those it already serves, such as those of a global DSE (digital services company).
