(CercleFinance.com) – In order to support the development of the United Arab Emirates and the growth of the rail sector in the region, Etihad Rail has decided to sign a memorandum of understanding with Thales.
Through this partnership, the two parties will collaborate in various fields, in particular: next-generation rail control, assisted driving systems, etc.
“This collaboration marks a major step in strengthening Thales’ presence in the Middle East,” said Millar Crawford, Deputy Managing Director, Ground Transportation Systems, Thales.
“Through this partnership, we assure our customers that we are developing the UAE’s national rail network to the highest international standards,” adds Ahmed Al Musawa, Executive Director, Etihad Rail.
