(CercleFinance.com) – Thales announces the signing of a historic contract with Airbus Helicopters to provide training for the German armed forces, the Bundeswehr, with 8 Reality H flight simulators (FFS).
These will be used for the initial training and preparation for operational missions of Bundeswehr H145M helicopter pilots by offering ‘an unrivaled level of realism to pilots’, assures Thales.
The contract includes an initial three-year support period, with a dedicated team to operate the H145M simulators which will be installed at the International Helicopter Training Center (IHTC) in Bückeburg, the largest helicopter training center in Europe. .
