“That ’90s Show” Season 2: Plot

Throughout the first season, Leia, the daughter of Eric and Donna, befriends the rebellious neighbor Gwen and begins a romantic relationship with Jackie and Kelso’s son Jay. But at the end, Leia is faced with a major dilemma: she almost kissed Gwen’s brother Nate.

Leia and Donna return to Chicago and the girl has to leave her new friends again. What will happen to Jay and Nate? The second season should clarify that.

The year is 1996, and Leia Forman is back in Point Place for another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are excited to be back together after nine months of long-distance dating. But Leia is nervous because Jay still doesn’t know that she almost kissed Nate. Nate is worried because his girlfriend Nikki doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, it didn’t last long. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and summer is about to end before it even begins.

We will also see Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty Forman (Debra Jo Rupp) again, after all, their house is the main location of the series.

Further cameos by Donna (Laura Prepon), Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), Eric (Topher Grace), Jackie (Mila Kunis) and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) are also not ruled out.

Is another spin-off possible on Netflix?

The former lead actor of the original series, Topher Grace, speaks about a possible meeting between himself and his old acting colleagues in another spin-off. Will there be another series of “That ’70s Show!”, which is set to start in spring 2038? A joke that may not seem so far-fetched after all. After all, the Netflix spin-off takes place 15 years after the events of “That ’70s Show!”

It is currently impossible to say whether this is wishful thinking on the part of the actor or a joke. Netflix has so far only commented on the sequel to “That ’90s Show”.
