Surprising – but also not
Based on recent reports, the A-Class ending comes as a bit of a surprise, but it actually fits in with the announcements made in May. Mercedes focuses on luxury and makes a lot of money, leaving mass-produced vehicles to others. So more S-Class, Maybach or AMG, fewer opportunities for average earners to drive a star in front of them. Even the taxi equipment that is so popular in Germany is no longer available.
That comes as a surprise – A is at the end: Mercedes is discontinuing the A-Class!
