Prince Harry (37) and Meghan Markle (40) published a photo of their six-month-old daughter Lilibet for the first time.
The picture says a lot about the family life of the royals.
The baby was born on June 4th in Santa Barbara.
Before that, the couple made it very important not to show their daughter in public.

In the photo, which is headlined “Happy Holiday 2021”, Meghan proudly holds her daughter in her arms and holds her up in the air. The mother of two shines all over her face. Prince Harry sits next to her, and son Archie (2) has made himself comfortable on his lap. The two of them laugh happily too. The photo says a lot about the family of four.
Archie’s hair is red
It can be clearly seen in the picture that the hair of son Archie (2), who made himself comfortable on Harry’s lap, is actually red. The fans of the Royal family have long speculated about whether Archie has brown or black hair, or whether he comes after his father and also has red hair. The reddish color of his hair can now be clearly seen on the Christmas photo.
What is also noticeable is that – as in most of the older photos of the family – Archie cannot be seen from the front. So he sits to the side of the camera and looks embarrassed at the floor. His sister Lilibet can only be seen from the side.
Casual clothes, no shoes
Harry and Meghan’s outfits show how casual they are in everyday life. For example, the Duke wears torn jeans and the Duchess a dark blue plain sweater.
The family is sitting outside on a wooden staircase in the picture. What is immediately noticeable: Harry and the two children are not wearing shoes. The prince could already be seen barefoot when the pregnancy was announced. The fact that the royals like to do without shoes should also show that they take it easy – and how close to nature they are.

The cute picture on the Christmas card was taken by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski. Lubomirski, who had also shot Harry and Meghan’s engagement and wedding photos, shared the picture on his Instagram account on Thursday.
He writes: “This is one of those rare and special projects that you are lucky enough to be part of. It was a great honor for me to continue the story of this family, which I photographed first as an engaged couple, then on their wedding day as a married couple, and now to see their love manifest in two wonderful children. “
