We didn’t have to wait long for a leak to reveal almost everything there is to know about the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Once is not customary, it’s Onleaks that we owes this information as well as numerous 3D renderings of the future folding smartphone.
In recent weeks, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has slowly started to make waves. But so far, the leaks have been relatively minor, revealing here and there a few details about its photo performance and the size of its screen. Also, like every year, it is once again Onleaks which delivers almost all of the information on the smartphone in advance. Starting with several 3D renderings of its design.
The first thing to highlight is the resemblance of the Galaxy Z Fold to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, released this year, particularly in terms of its completely flat screen and rear shell. Conversely, the frame of the smartphone is slightly curved, which again evokes the design of Samsung’s latest flagship. Finally, another aspect taken directly from the Galaxy S24 Ultra: the slot-shaped design of the speaker.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 would thus measure 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm when unfolded. It is therefore slightly smaller in length than its predecessor, but also slightly wider. Moreover, the leak confirms previous information regarding the smartphone screen. This should have a coverage panel of 6.2 inches and 7.6 inches for the folding panel.
Onleaks also mentions a thickness of 6.1 mm, which suggests that the hinge will again be of the teardrop type. We also note the absence of a slot for the S-Pen. Finally, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 would be equipped with a photo module with triple sensors, while the selfie sensor would again be nestled under the foldable screen, and a second in a dedicated punch on the exterior screen.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 technical sheet is revealed
The leak does not only reveal the design of the smartphone, since we are also entitled to almost all of its technical sheet. In addition to the size of the screens, this specifies that both will be Dynamic AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The interior screen would be made of ultra-thin glass, while the cover screen would be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Armor. Their brightness can reach 2600 nits.
To power everything, we should unsurprisingly find Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with 12 or 16 GB of RAM. Users will also be able to count on 1 TB of storage in UFS 4.0. A battery similar to the Galaxy Z Fold would power all this, namely 4400 mAh compatible with 25 W charging. Finally, as mentioned above, we should find 3 photo sensors of respectively 50 MP; 12 MP and 10 MP, as well as two selfie sensors of 10 MP and 4 MP.
The smartphone would come with Android 14 and its One UI 6.1.1 overlay. Samsung would offer 7 years of software updates as well as 7 years of security patches. The Unpacked presentation event is expected to take place next July. We also expect a third model to be added to the range this year.
