The design of the Nothing Phone (2) is revealed by OnLeaks. To see the differences with the previous model, you will have to get up early.
In the game of cat and mouse, the leakers seem to have won. Nothing, a young London company launched by Carl Pei, formerly of OnePlus, is used to distilling leaks organized around its products. They will not have the leisure here with the Nothing Phone (2).
Their second smartphone to date, scheduled for July 2023, has just seen its entire design revealed by OnLeaks, a leaker renowned for its reliability, in partnership with the site Smartprix.com.
Few differences on the design, more on the technical sheet
At first glance, the published images show a smartphone in every way similar to its critically acclaimed predecessor.

A priori, these images are reliable, because according to the Smartprix article that accompanies the leak, they were created from real images of a unit under test. On the other hand, important precision, the introduction of minor changes is still possible.
To get an idea of the probable differences between the Phone (2) and the Phone (1), a small visual underlines them in red rectangles.
We note that the contour of the photo block would have evolved somewhat with the integration of a dual LED flash system to better illuminate the night scene. Another “major” modification, the notification LED would adopt a more visible design. It is already one of the lines of communication on which Nothing has already insisted a lot.
Among the more significant changes mentioned by SmartPrix, we can mention an “update” of its Glyph, the LED system on the back, a slightly curved back, just like the front, which should both incorporate a design 2.5D.
We also notice that the frame would no longer be perfectly flat, but slightly rounded. What completely remove the Phone (2) from the comparison with the iPhone which had suffered (or benefited?) the Phone (1).
