The Walking Dead spin-off Isle of the Dead is getting a new title. But nothing changes in the basic premise of the series. We’ll tell you what the series about Maggie and Negan is called now.

What’s better than once “Dead” in the title? Twice “Dead” in the title! At least that’s what the heads behind the “The Walking Dead” spin-off “Isle of the Dead” thought. The new series about Maggie and Negan’s undead adventure in New York City will be renamed “The Walking Dead: Dead City”.
Exact reasons for the change of title are not known. Maybe the creators of the old title thought that it wasn’t clear enough that it was “The Walking Dead”? No matter why the name was changed, the basic structure of the series does not change for the time being.
In the new series, Negan and Maggie will go on a mission to Manhattan, New York City. We will certainly find out why the two arch-enemies are teaming up in the final episodes of the main series “The Walking Dead”, which will be broadcast from October to November 2022.
