Released in cinemas in 2004, the movie called The 11 Commandmentsworn by Michaël Youn, Vincent Desagnat and Benjamin Morgainewill be rebroadcast on Sunday August 7, 2022, from 10:15 p.m. on W9. Directed by François Desagnat and Thomas Sorriauxthis feature film with sketches is inspired by the American film Jackass. The spectators follow Michaël, Vincent, Benjamin and their friends, who meet the god of jokes. The latter explains to them that the inhabitants laugh less and less. He then entrusts them with the mission of making the population laugh again thanks to 11 commandments, which will subsequently increase to 15instead of 19 as what was written on the order form.
“I had role offers for the summer but it was traditional comedies, and I have time for the traditional. I wanted to experience something else. In addition, I had the frustration of a lot of bullshit from the morning live which we still had to do. And then, when we saw that the guys from Jackass had succeeded in bringing their universe from TV to the cinemawe said to ourselves that we could also bring our own universe there. Another form of entertainment, an alternative to classic comedies“, said Michael Youn when asked about the genesis of the film at the time.
The 11 commandments: no less than 400,000 euros paid in damages following the filming
After the filming of 11 commandments, Michaël Youn fired the report of the most daring adventures of his gang. For having exceeded the laws and exceeded their limits, they thus recorded: “7 arrests, 2 trials, a prefectural ban, around fifteen police checks, a perforated eardrum, a broken nose, 2 broken ribs, 17 stitches, 2 sprains, 2 synovium effusions, a skin allergy to water from the Seine, 3 fainting spells and around 15 cases of vomiting. Not to mention the approximately 400,000 euros paid in damages and interests.”
